OIL & AIR COOLED THYRISTOR (SCR) RECTIFIERS

The oil & air-cooled Rectifier utilize thyristor (SCR - Silicon Controlled Rectifier) technology. The design requires that the thyristor stack and the isolation transformer be installed in a tank filled with oil or a fan-cooled panel.

The digital isolated user interface allows configuration to each client's unique requirements.

The oil-cooled unit requires installation in a bunt area with sufficient clearance around the unit. The air-cooled unit requires installation in an area that is accessible to fresh air for cool ventilation.

The oil-cooled rectifier is the preferred solution to a chemical / elevated ambient temperature harsh environment.
